Accidents cost money, cause suffering and interrupt business. We offer safety courses to members at a discount and some of these courses include: Defensive Driving Courses, Lift Truck Operator Training, Supervisors Development Programs, Train the Trainer Programs, First Aid Training and CPR Training.
FREE: AUDIO-VISUAL LIBRARY
Members receive free use of our extensive video, film and scale collection with over 350 titles to train employees and promote safety. We can also help you preview and choose your selection.
FREE: REFERENCE LIBRARY
Our extensive reference library, which includes manuals, textbooks, safety pamphlets and magazines, is available to our members at no charge.
AWARDS PROGRAMS
Member companies are invited to participate in the annual occupational safety and driver-of-the-year contests. Awards are presented at the annual dinner program.

CONSULTATION AND EVALUATION SERVICES

LIAISON WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
We can assist in solving specific safety problems and create understanding and cooperation with government agencies such as OSHA and TOSHA. The Tennessee Safety and Health Council also works closely with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Department of Transportation, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
SAFETY NEWSLETTER
We help to keep you "safety smart" with our newsletter that contains articles on better work habits, dates of upcoming events, and articles to encourage and motivate employees.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Your membership dollars do even more. They are also used to take part in a number of public safety programs such as Back to School Safety Program, Bicycle Safety Rodeo, Learn to Swim Program, and Violence Prevention in Schools Campaign.
